QUESTION: WHY ARE PHOTOS OF MOBILE DISCO SYSTEMS SO IMPORTANT?
ANSWER: Good clear photos of ANY and EVERY mobile disco hire company's systems IN ACTION at a function INSTANTLY GIVE YOU THE CUSTOMER a very clear idea of EXACTLY WHAT YOU WOULD BE GETTING at your own function, & pretty much HOW IT WOULD ALL LOOK set up at your venue IF you book them.
SO DON'T EVER BOOK ANY COMPANY'S DISCO SYSTEM SIGHT UNSEEN
THAT'S JUST PLAIN CRAZY!
So please scroll down to see more than 80 photos of our disco systems in action at EVERY possible type of function - birthdays, wedding receptions, engagements, sports clubs, corporate functions, balls/dinner dances, school formals & more!
Here's the sort of photo you will see :

BUT before you do scroll down, please spend just 2 or 3 minutes reading the notes below so that you can understand EXACTLY what it is that we are trying to show you. THEN hopefully you WON'T end up with a TINY second-rate piece of junk from one of the MANY "near enough is good enough" disco companies.
BEFORE we put up our web-site in the middle of 2002 LOTS of other Melbourne disco companies had at least 1 or 2 photos of their systems IN ACTION at a function on their web-sites - but now most of them have REMOVED those photos.
QUESTION: Why do you think all these other disco companies would do that?
ANSWER: There can really only be ONE simple reason - they don't want you to see what their systems look like compared to ours because then you probably wouldn't book them. After you have looked at OUR photos we think you will understand why!
THEY ALL KNOW that they just can't compete with the whole "LOOK" as well as the SIZE and QUALITY of our systems, OR with the full on NIGHTCLUB STANDARD CD players, mixers, amps and speakers that we provide, plus THEY KNOW that they don't provide anything like the same amount of high-tech lighting. That's the reason why they don't have photos of their whole set-up on their web-sites because they don't want you to see their systems until they actually turn up on the night - because then you just have to accept it no matter how TINY their system is and no matter how basic their sound and lighting equipment is - THEY KNOW you can't send them away, no matter how disappointed you are because then you would have no entertainment at all!
The only photos you see now on most companies web-sites are just shots of people dancing - BIG DEAL! The other stupid thing you see are shots of all the guests looking directly at the DJ and clowning around AFTER he has called out on his microphone for everyone to come out onto the dance-floor because he's taking a couple of shots for his web-site. What does that actually prove?
However, one good thing about EVERY ONE of those photos of people dancing or even clowning around on OTHER companies web-sites is that EVEN THEN you CAN very clearly see the HUGE difference our MUCH BETTER LIGHTING makes. In ALL of OUR photos below, you can see the coloured beams from all our different lights CLEARLY VISIBLE not just on the people dancing and on their clothes etc, but also on the walls, the ceiling, the floor, & so on, BUT in almost EVERY other companies photos on their web-sites YOU CAN'T SEE ANY LIGHT BEAMS AT ALL - NOT on the people, NOT on the walls, NOT on the ceiling, and NOT even on the floor!
That's because 95% OF other mobile disco companies provide ONLY one or two lights.
A LOT less lighting means a LOT less atmosphere is created, which in turn means A LOT LESS people will be dancing!
SO IT'S IMPORTANT TO ASK EVERY COMPANY YOU GET A QUOTE FROM TO SEND YOU SOME PHOTOS OF THEIR DISCO SYSTEM(S) IN ACTION.
In this technological age, with absolutely EVERYONE having digital cameras (and almost everyone has them in their mobile phones as well) then there is simply no excuse for ANY disco company not being able to VERY EASILY supply photos of their disco systems in action for you. If they say they haven't got any photos to send to you, you really have to ask yourself WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO HIDE FROM YOU? The key thing about seeing AT LEAST ONE photo of every disco company's system IN ACTION BEFORE you book them is then you can't be shocked or disappointed when the disco system does arrive at your function because if you've already seen a photo THEN you will know EXACTLY what you are getting.
Otherwise, if they DON'T have any photos on their web-site, OR don't have any photos to email to you, OR don't have any photos to post out with their info brochures THEN THE VERY FIRST TIME YOU ACTUALLY GET TO SEE THE DISCO SET-UP YOU ARE GETTING IS AFTER IT ARRIVES & GETS SET UP - & by then of course it's WAY too late to send it away if you are disappointed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, we think what we provide looks pretty damn good!
So please scroll on down & have a look for yourself!
And PLEASE do take a moment to carefully read thru the notes above each set of photos BEFORE you look at them, so that you know WHERE they were taken, and WHAT TYPE OF FUNCTION etc.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The first 7 photos below are of one of our standard size systems
These photos were taken at a function in a large public hall before any guests arrived. In these photos ALL ELEVEN LIGHTING EFFECTS (EXCEPT THE STROBE), & THE FOG/SMOKE MACHINE, WERE ALL TURNED ON AT THE SAME TIME. We do realise that this creates an almost "overkill" effect in these photos but PLEASE NOTE that this is NOT a situation that would EVER actually occur during ANY function.
It was only done for ONE SPECIFIC REASON - so that YOU as a potential customer COULD ACTUALLY SEE FOR YOURSELF EVERY ONE of the ELEVEN different lighting effects that we would provide for your function. Obviously, if we DIDN'T have all of them turned on at once, then you would NOT have been able to see any of the lights that we left turned off - so clearly we had no real choice but to turn them ALL on - JUST SO THAT YOU COULD SEE THEM ALL.
But in the course of
ANY function,
even later in the evening when the
dance-floor is packed,
we NEVER EVER have more than 4 or
occasionally maybe 5 of these 11 lights in use at any one time,
& the DJ will keep swapping them all around every ten
minutes or so, to create LOTS of different looks & patterns & shapes as well as many
different mixes of colours & movements throughout your function.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
In nearly every function that we do, most of these lights
are NOT turned on AT ALL until an hour or more into the function,
in other words,
they are usually NEVER used UNTIL the food and any/all
formalities (speeches, presentations, cake-cutting etc) are over.

The next three photos below are of one of our more compact
sized systems.
These photos were also taken at a function (a
21st birthday) BEFORE the guests arrived.
There are
EXACTLY THE SAME number, make & models of lighting effects provided with these more compact systems as we provide with our standard systems - the only real difference is that with our more compact
systems we are using a pair of
skinnier side light-boxes, and skinnier speaker boxes in order to make the
system about one metre less in overall width.
We generally
use these more compact systems for smaller functions, OR where space is a problem
(like inside private homes or small restaurants/cafes),
OR in some upstairs venues.
Once again, these photos were taken with
ALL ELEVEN LIGHTING EFFECTS (except the strobe) TURNED ON AT THE SAME TIME,
BUT no fog/smoke machine was used in these photos. Even so,
you can still clearly see in two of these photos how the lighting effects throw their beams out all over the walls and the dance-floor of the venue room.

The two photos below
were taken from the DJ's side of the system at that same 21st birthday function mentioned
above (which was in the upstairs function room at Milano's in Brighton)
In the first photo you can see that the DJ has several cases of CDs laid out on each side of the position where he stands behind the disco
system. There are at least SIX cases of our DJ's CDs visible in the photo -
whereas most other companies DJs only have just the ONE case of CDs to bring
to any function.
That first photo was taken early in the
night when you can see all the venue's normal room lights are on up the other end of the
room where all the guests are grouped around the bar -
this is the normal
situation at most functions.
Apart from 18th (or younger) birthdays where they all dance
almost straight away,
during the first hour or so
of ANY OTHER type of function there is usually not much dancing happening -
guests need time to "catch up" with each other, and of course food is
usually served in the first hour or so - while at a
"sit down' type function such as Wedding Receptions, Balls etc it can be up to 2
hours before guests will dance. But
once food and formalities are done THEN people are ready to dance.
So
in the second photo below, taken later in the evening, you can see the room is much
darker and guests are virtually dancing right "in the DJ's face".

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are 2 more photos of another standard system all set up before the guests arrived for a 50th birthday in the St Kilda Bowling Club. The same as in the standard system photos above ALL ELEVEN LIGHTING EFFECTS (EXCEPT THE STROBE), & THE FOG/SMOKE MACHINE, WERE ALL TURNED ON AT THE SAME TIME. And as we said above, this is NOT a situation that would EVER actually occur during ANY function. It was done for ONE REASON ONLY - to show you ALL the lights that we provide, and how they look. Also, you can see that the set of light-boxes had all their coloured panels on at the same time - AGAIN, this is not how they operate during a function, we only turned them all on together so you could see the sets of 4 different colours. But during a function these different coloured panels flash on and off independently of each other, controlled by something called a "64 Pattern Computer Logic Chaser" - the pattern changes every 1 or 2 seconds - sometimes they flash 1 colour at a time, sometimes 2 colours and sometimes 3 colours.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These
next two photos below were taken at a large ball for about 500 guests in the
"Savoy Ballroom" at the Grand Hyatt.
The first photo was taken from behind the DJ console looking out over the packed dance-floor across to the entry doors,
then the second photo was taken from those entry doors at the opposite end of the room looking back at our very biggest disco system up on the stage.
That biggest disco system sets up about 5 metres wide,
with many of the lighting effects up on overhead trussing 2.2 metres high.
In that second photo you can see that the dance-floor, as big as it is, is totally overflowing -
those people who couldn't find space on the dance-floor
are actually dancing between the tables,
so obviously, with that sort of response from the crowd,
our DJ must have been doing a sensational job!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These next three photos were taken at a Wedding Reception for about 110 guests in the very unique glass-roofed "Atrium" at Riverlea winery in Warrandyte South. The owner recommended our disco company to all her Wedding Reception clients, so we have done around 110 to 120 Wedding Receptions at this lovely venue over the past 3 years. Again, there are lots of dancers, so our DJ was obviously creating the right atmosphere! Riverlea changed ownership in late 2009 and the new owners started renovating immediately. The last Wedding Reception until they reopen in late 2011 or early 2012 was in late March 2010. We are fortunate enough to know the new owners, so we have had a "sneak peak" at what has already been done, and it will definitely be as fabulous as ever, perhaps even more so!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next two photos were taken at a Wedding Reception for about 120 guests at "Potters" reception venue in Warrandyte. They have a nice central stage there for us to set up our disco system on. That stage does have a fairly low ceiling above it so we can only get our light stand up to about 1.8 metres high, whereas in most other venues they can go up to 2.5 metres. However, as you can see in these photos, our lights are still very effective in creating a real atmosphere in the room. And lots of atmosphere means lots of dancing!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To show you that we don't just do functions in large licensed venues, these 3 photos are from a 16th birthday party for about 35 guests in the family room of a PRIVATE HOUSE. Since it was in a private house, we supplied a compact system, which has skinnier side light-boxes and speaker cabinets to save about a metre in the width of space the whole set-up needs, but our compact systems still have EXACTLY the same ELEVEN lighting effects and a smoke machine included as standard. You can clearly see all the colours and the different shapes and patterns from all our lighting effects on people's bodies as well as on the walls & the ceiling.
And as usual LOTS of dancing!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These shots are from a 40th birthday for about 80 guests at the Cardinia Park Hotel in Beaconsfield. Again, you can see how much our ELEVEN "proper" nightclub lighting effects (as well as the alternating colours from our set of 3 light-boxes) really do add so much to the over all "party atmosphere". Look at the photos in EVERY other disco company's Photo Gallery and you won't see EVEN ONE that looks ANYWHERE NEAR as good as our photos do -and that because 95% of ALL the other disco companies only bring one or two lights - and often they are not even genuine bar/club type lighting effects like ours are. Oh yeah - as usual, lots of dancers!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next 5 photo's were taken at "Mitch's" (formerly "Cha Cha's") in Chapel St.,
Windsor.
They are from a 21st birthday party for about 130
guests. Although there is not enough space for us to use
one of our standard disco systems we do find that this is a great venue for atmosphere.
We use one of our more compact systems when we are there, positioned on a small platform just inside the front doors & backing onto one of the windows out to Chapel St.
A compact system still includes the same ELEVEN lighting
effects, smoke machine and set of 3 light-boxes, it's just that the side
light-boxes are only half the width of a standard set.
In the first photo you can see our lights reflecting off
the walls & off the front window, while in the other photos, which were all
taken from behind the DJ console, you can see how good the lights look on all
the dancing guests.
As usual with our pub/club experienced DJs, the
dance-floor area is "standing room only" as they say.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Functions in venues don't
have to have huge numbers of guests to be successful - the photo below is from one of our smaller functions.
It was taken at a small Xmas Party for only 35 people in the "Ballarto
Room" at the Seaford Hotel,
again using a compact system because of both the low
number of guests plus the fact that this function room is fairly narrow.
A compact system has skinnier side light-boxes and speaker cabinets, but still
has EXACTLY the same ELEVEN lighting effects and a smoke machine included as
standard.
You can see lots of the coloured beams from our lights
reflecting off the ceiling and the dance-floor.
Whenever we have such small numbers at any function
it does make the DJs job a lot harder, but he must have
been doing a good job, because the guests seem to be having a great time!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next batch of photos were taken at
international movie star
Jean-Claude Van Damme's birthday party at "Planet Hollywood"
in the Crown Casino complex a few years back.
Van Damme is the man wearing the blue cap, windcheater and jeans in the first photo & addressing the crowd using one of our cordless microphones. There were 800 guests present, most of whom won their invitations in a radio promotion we organised thru our connections at TT-FM
(now known as Mix101FM).
Unlike all of our other
function photos above, which were all taken on 400 speed film WITHOUT using any
flash, this set of photos from Planet Hollywood were all taken on 100 speed film
USING the flash, so
you can't really see the full effect of all our coloured disco lights showing up
on all the dancing patrons like they do in all our other photos.
In these Planet Hollywood photos the brightness created by the flash has
substantially diminished the visibility of all those coloured lights.
But what you CAN see very clearly is that LOTS of people
were dancing - so the DJ must have been doing OK!
In addition to this "special" promotion night, and
other "special" occasions (such as New Years Eve, Labour Day weekend, Queens
Birthday weekend etc), we actually provided the DJ plus all the disco &
lighting equipment every Sunday night at "Planet Hollywood" for about 3 years.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The three photos below are from a Victoria Police Graduation Ball for about 300 guests at Blake's Events Warehouse on South Wharf.
Once again, you can see
how effective all our lighting is in creating a real party atmosphere.
You can
see in the top right-hand corner of 2 of the photos the beams from one of our optional pairs of "Scans" mounted on
an extra lighting stand (known as a "T-piece").
These OPTIONAL Scans (and the extra T-piece
they are suspended on)
are often hired by customers with larger functions like this,
in order to add
even MORE impact to our standard package of ELEVEN lighting effects.
We have had these "Scans" hired for
large School Formals & Uni Balls, as well as Dinner Dances & Corporate functions
- even for a 40th birthday where our customer really wanted to "blow their
guests away" with as much "wow factor" as we could provide. And as usual with our very experienced pub/club DJs, the dance-floor is packed!

The photo below was also taken at that
Victoria Police function.
You can see our very experienced DJ has LOTS of cases of CDs laid out behind the
disco set-up - there are actually ELEVEN cases of CDs clearly visible
in that photo - unfortunately the DJs most other companies
supply are not very experienced
at all, THAT'S WHY
nearly all these other company DJs only have just the ONE case of CDs to bring
to your function.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These next three photos are from the Brighton Primary School Parents Ball/Dinner Dance at the "International Of Brighton" Reception Centre. It was a "70's Disco" theme night, so we had even organised a flashing dance-floor similar to the one in the movie "Saturday Night Fever", plus as you can see, they even had a 7 foot tall cut-out of John Travolta! The first photo shows how it all looked set-up just before the 200 or so guests came thru from the foyer where they had been having "pre-dinner drinks", while the other 2 photos are from later in the night.
As is usual with our very talented DJs, there are lots of people dancing.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a couple of photos from the "Welcome To Melbourne" party for the Spice Girls at Planet Hollywood several years ago.
In the background of the second photo you can see our DJ (he is wearing a white T-shirt with the "Planet Hollywood" logo on the front) and our disco system up against the wall behind all the dancing guests.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are 2 photos from a large Dinner Dance for about 250 guests at "The Grand" in Wantirna in June 2009. Our DJ and disco system were up on a huge theatrical type stage about 1.3 metres above the dance-floor, which is where the photos were taken from. The first photo was taken from the middle of the stage, and the second one from the DJ's position behind the disco system.
As you can see for yourself, at least 200 of the 250 guests are out on the dance-floor!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These next two photos are from another smallish funtion - a 40th birthday for about 50 guests in the back function room at Khyat's Hotel in Wilson St., Brighton. Once again, there are plenty of guests on the dance-floor.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The two photos below are from a Wedding Reception at "Merrimu" in Dandenong Rd opposite Chadstone Shopping Centre.
This was a Greek wedding, and in the top photo, taken from the Bridal Table end of the room, you can see lots of the 120 guests having lots of fun doing some traditional circular Greek dancing (known as Kalamatiana), while in the bottom photo, taken at the other end of the room from behind the DJ console, you can see once again that our DJ has at least SIX cases of CDs laid out on a long table behind him, not just ONE case, which we keep stressing to you is ALL that many other companies "hobby" DJs have in their entire collection - just the ONE case of CDs - many of you would probably have bigger CD collections yourself!!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The three photos below are from a school formal for about 300 students in the "Carrick Room" at Melrose Receptions in Tullamarine.
Once again, you can see how effective our smoke machines are in highlighting the beams from all our disco lights. And of course, once again - lots of dancers! We have also done many Wedding Receptions at this lovely venue, in all 3 of their function rooms.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a couple of photos from a Wedding Reception for about 70 guests in the upstairs function area at "Riva" on the beach side of the St Kilda Marina in March 2010. The first photo shows the fantastic view over Port Phillip Bay just before sunset, but even before it was properly dark, you can see that our DJ already had the guests up dancing. The second photo was taken later in the evening, with a few older guests sitting at the table in the foreground while lots of other guests are filling the dance-floor. You can also see the spectacular view of all the lights of the city and across to Williamstown, Altona etc in the background. We have performed in this upstairs room several times, as well as many times in the bigger function room downstairs with its large outside deck and lawn area, plus a great view of the Marina and all the luxury motor yachts moored there.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next are three photos from a small 21st birthday for about 50 guests in the upstairs function room at the "Half Moon" hotel in Church St., Brighton. Once again you can see how effectively the light beams spread out around the room onto the walls, the ceiling and on the guests - and as usual, lots of dancing.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next seven photos are from a large Corporate Function for about 300 Commonwealth Bank staff at "Manor On High" Receptions in Epping.
This room is primarily used for Wedding Receptions, so they have TWO stages at opposite ends of the HUGE dance-floor - one 4 metre wide stage for the entertainment, and one 7 to 8 metre wide stage that is normally used to accommodate even the largest Bridal Party table. But since this was NOT a Wedding reception, then on this occasion we were able to set up disco systems on BOTH stages.
Firstly on the entertainment stage we had our standard disco system with it's ELEVEN lights, plus an extra T-stand with FIVE MORE lighting effects suspended from it. This set-up is shown in the first photo below, with the extra T-stand and lights on the right-hand side. PLEASE NOTE that this photo was taken early in the evening before any dancing had started. So only the UV tube, the pair of single scanners, the mirror ball and it's pin-spot were turned on at that stage. The other ELEVEN more sophisticated "dance-floor" lighting effects were NOT turned on at that time. In fact at almost every type of function NONE of our main dance-floor lights are EVER used until food & formalities are over & THEN the dancing starts.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Most of the photos on this web-site are not taken on a digital camera. They are deliberately taken on a high quality Minolta 35mm SLR camera using 400 speed 35mm film so that we can avoid using any flash, so that all the coloured lighting will show up properly, BUT the photo below was taken using a digital camera WITH A FLASH so there is quite a lot of "flaring" from the flash reflecting off the front of the perspex light-boxes, which stops their colours from showing thru, although you can see some red and some green colour from the light-boxes reflecting down onto the carpet in front of the light-boxes. Normally you would be able to see they have 4 different coloured panels - red, yellow, green and blue, which you actually can see a lot more clearly in MANY other photos in this Photo Gallery.

In addition to this standard disco system (plus the extra T-stand and lights) that we set up on the normal entertainment stage, at the OTHER end of the dance-floor up on what is normally the Bridal Party stage we also provided a SECOND complete sound and lighting system (see photo below) comprising a DJ console with 2 Pioneer DJ CD players, Pioneer mixer, EV speakers and Crown amplifier along with 6 metres of overhead trussing and LOTS of stage lighting - 6 x "Par Can" coloured spotlights, 1 x mirror-ball and motor, 2 x "Pin Spot" coloured spot-lights shining onto the mirror-ball, plus 2 x "Scanners", 1 x "Sparkle" and 1 x "Crystal" lighting effect, plus a huge F100 smoke/fog machine. This second system was provided for various performances some of the Bank staff were doing on that stage. They had learned the dance routines from a couple of ABBA music videos & were in full ABBA costumes miming & dancing to those songs on that stage, PLUS they also had well-known Melbourne comedian Chris Bennett MCing for the evening, as well as performing his 15 minute comedy routine from that stage.

Below are a few shots taken thru the course of the night
Firstly the packed dance-floor looking from the normal Bridal Party stage right across to our disco system on the entertainment stage at the other end of the room. You can just see our DJ's head above the purple UV tube in the centre of the picture! As is usual with all our DJs, the dance-floor is PACKED.

Now here is a shot from the DJ's end of the room, looking back the other way. You can see all the coloured beams from our lights on the walls and ceiling as well as on the bodies and clothing of the dancing guests.

Here's a couple more shots of the packed dance-floor

Below you can see guests doing a bit of an old favourite with lots of crowds of all ages - the "Nutbush"!!!!
Once again, you can see our lighting beams on the ceiling & on the dancers. You can even see our lighting reflecting off the dance-floor itself between the dancers legs!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next three photos were taken at the AFL Grand Final Eve Luncheon "After Party" in the Channel 7 function rooms at Telstradome on the Friday afternoon before the Grand Final.
This was a "twilight" function with the DJ starting at 4PM - which was AFTER the guests had already been "wining & dining" downstairs for FOUR HOURS, so they were well and truly primed to party! There were 1,400 guests present in the 30 to 50 age group, so because of the size of the crowd we used a large 4m wide x 3m deep x 50cm high portable stage and we supplied a 5000 watt sound system comprising 2 x 18 inch sub-woofers and 2 x 15 inch full-range bass speakers, plus 2 x 15 inch mid-range speakers and 2 x 10 inch mid-range speakers plus 6 x horns/tweeters, driven by a rack containing THREE separate amplifiers. We also provided TWELVE lighting effects and a huge 1200watt F100 fog/smoke machine. The bottom 2 photos were taken from the DJ's position up on the stage and as you can see the guests are all dancing right back into the distance "as far as the eye can see". It really was a HUGE day! We have actually done that function 3 times now, in '04, '05 and '06.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following two photos are from another School Formal, which took place at "Roseville" in Essendon in their huge Ballroom which features a large circular sunken dance-floor. There were around 220 students present plus about 30 teachers. The first photo was taken from behind our disco system, while the second photo was taken from halfway down the room, looking back at our disco system. Once again, as is usual with our "proper" DJs, the dance-floor is packed!

Here is another photo taken in the Ballroom at "Roseville" in Essendon but this time it's from a Wedding Reception for about 90 guests. This photo was taken from the DJ's position up behind the disco system. And once again, we have a full dance floor!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here are a couple more Wedding Reception shots. These are from the "York On Lilydale" resort with about 80 guests present. Obviously these photos were taken after all food and formalities were over, and the venue had turned all their lights right down. Again you can see the beams from some of our disco lights on the floor and on guests bodies. As usual, the dance-floor is packed. The DJ must have been playing a real "party classic" since most of the guests have formed a circle with arms around each other singing their hearts out!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The three photos below are from an 18th birthday in the function room at a small bar/restaurant in Brighton.
Dance-floor is packed - so situation normal!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is a photo from a Wedding Reception for 60 guests in the "Capri Room" at "Linley Estate" in Kilsyth. We have done many functions there, but mainly in their much larger "Silvan Room" with its sunken dance-floor, as well as a couple of very large functions in their "Ballroom". Unlike all the other Wedding Reception photos here in our Photo Gallery, this shot was taken early in the evening while guests were still eating, so of course none of our 8 sophisticated dance-floor lighting effects were in use. Just the pair of single scanners and the 1.2m UV tube were the only 3 of our 11 lighting effects turned on at this time, as well as the set of 3 light-boxes (a compact set because of the small stage).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next 2 photos were taken BEFORE any guests arrived at a 21st birthday in the upstairs function room at the Grand Hotel in Warrandyte (also known as "Club Warrandyte"). Partly because this function room is upstairs, but mainly because it only has a small stage, we provided one of our compact systems for this function. A compact system has skinnier side light-boxes and speaker cabinets but still has EXACTLY the same ELEVEN lighting effects and a smoke machine included as one of our standard systems does - the only real difference is that a compact system is about one metre less in overall width so that it can fit in a smaller area like the small stage in this room. This set of light-boxes flashes thru just one colour at a time. In the first photo you can see they are on yellow and in the second photo they are on green. The other two colours in the cycle are a pinky red and a light blue colour. Each of those 4 colours stay on for about one second before changing to the next one.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These next 3 photos were taken at a 13th birthday in the main function room at the Brighton Recreational Centre. We do lots of 13th parties, including quite a few Bar mitzvahs & Bat mitzvahs, and the guests always dance from the first minute to the very last minute. They have a ball! And they absolutely love all the "ga ga factor" stuff - our ELEVEN lighting effects, plus our set of 3 flashing coloured light-boxes and the fog machine.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next two photos were taken at a large Wedding Reception for over 200 guests at "Camelot" in Princes Highway Clayton.
In this large function room, the Bridal Table is set up at one end of the room,
while our disco system is set up on a low stage at the other end, with a huge
dance-floor in between them. Then to either side of
the dance-floor are the guest tables. These photos were taken from the
Bridal Table area looking right down the length of the crowded dance-floor to the
disco system positioned on the low stage at the opposite end of the dance-floor.
You can see some of the lights over the heads of all the dancing guests,
and you can also just see some of the coloured beams from our lights reflecting off the dance-floor between all those
dancing bodies! As you can see, that dance-floor is totally packed, so the DJ must have been doing a great job.
