Thru the many friends/contacts we have made in the hotel,
nightclub, sporting & entertainment industries over the years,
we have been asked to do LOTS of functions for well-known show-biz and sporting personalities &/or their immediate families.
Back on Saturday May 27th 1989
when our
disco company was less than 12 months old,
Peter Mac, one of the DJs who is still working for us quite regularly (& who is
now also one of Melbourne’s most popular “Over 28’s” venue DJs) DJed at
Kylie
Minogue’s
21st birthday
at the Red Eagle Hotel in Albert Park.
I would love to have DJed Kylie’s
birthday, but at that stage I was the resident
Saturday night DJ at “Shout Rock Café” nightclub at the top of King St in the
City, so I couldn’t do the gig myself.

Since then we have done a lot more functions for various
celebrities & their families.

On Saturday October 17th, 1998 we provided the DJ and disco system for
international movie star
Jean-Claude Van Damme's birthday party at “Planet
Hollywood” for about 800 guests. Film of this function was featured on several TV
news services, as well as on Channel 9's "In Melbourne Tonight" and on Channel

In August 1999 was the 40th birthday party for
Michael Roberts, former St.Kilda
football player, "Sale of the Century" model & Channel 9 sports reporter. Guests
included all "The Footy Show" personalities -

Trevor Marmalade etc., plus
Nicky Buckley
& many
of the "Sale Of The Century"

In 2005 we did the "wrap party" for the ABC TV series MDA
(Medical Defence Australia) at the ABC TV Studios in Elsternwick.
Guests included all the stars
Jason Donovan, Kerry Armstrong, & Shane Bourne,
plus the rest of the cast.
Jason told our DJ GarryM, (who knew Jason from various
nightclubs he has DJed in over the years) to please not play any of his
songs,
but the rest of the cast insisted

StKilda footballer
Stephen Milne and his lovely partner Melissa with their 7
year old son Tyson as Best Man, plus about 200 guests including many other

Justin Peckitt, Fraser Gehrig and Austin “Ozzie” Jones at the “International Of
